Description
The Medicine and Surgery program is a comprehensive academic program that aims to prepare scientifically and practically qualified general practitioners who possess solid knowledge, basic clinical skills, and the professional and ethical values necessary to practice medicine efficiently and responsibly.
The program spans a number of academic years in accordance with approved regulations and adopts a progressive teaching approach that begins with basic medical sciences and then moves on to clinical medical sciences, with a focus on integrating theoretical and practical aspects. The program also includes organized clinical training in accredited hospitals and health centers, allowing students to deal directly with medical cases under the supervision of faculty members and support staff.
The program focuses on developing critical thinking skills, effective medical communication, working within a healthcare team, and sound medical decision-making, in addition to encouraging scientific research and continuous learning about medical developments.

· The Internal Medicine Department is one of the educational departments at Gharyan Central Teaching Hospital, and it provides service to patients 24 hours a day.
